Just took my car for a service (corsa c sxi 1st service)

Took them 45mins and i mean 45 mins to service my car guess how much labour they charged.... £66 excluding VAT!!!!

i said to the woman what £66 for 45mins labour, she said yes vauxhall standard charge for that service.

Do you think the guy that serviced my car missed shit loads of stuff cause i was origionally told 1 1/2 to 2 hours wait on the phone...

it's normally about 45-50 per hour

But i was origionally told the car would be ready at 10.30 or later (took it in at 9) 45mins later i see the vauxhall monkey taking it for a testdrive, surley hes missed out loads of things to do on my car just to get home early.

1st service is just an oil and filter change and a level check mate.It probably took him 10 mintes.

he didnt change filter, would have done it myself but i need to have a service to keep my free AA recovery and warrenty ect ect !

they only do the filter if it needs doing!

I was told vauxhall do a standard charge of £60 for 1 hours work and £35 for 30mins work, so far for all the bits and peices i've had done this has been true

my 2nd service cost 117.19p they put an extra 14p on for a rivet that was missing without my permission, then added vat!!

i know we all moan about the service costs but if something major like the engine went bang(like mine did) at least it gets fixed for free
