Anyone have any probs after running any of these programs ie missing files ect

just reinstalled everything and dunno whether to bother or not

AdAware is good, would just use that, not heard of spybot tho

Have heard of SpyBot, but I don't use it......AdAware is installed and running, though.

Plus, I use Opera instead of IE, which has a default option to block pop-up windows...

i use both on win2000 and XP and never had any problems mate i find that alot of stuff adaware missies, spybot picks up and visa versa, so its good to have both mate

yer i allways use ad-aware and never had any problems, its cant just delete random files, uve propley got a virus

i had no problems with adware on my pc - people said get this - i ran it and it found stuff, afterwards i got more stuff popping up and adding to bars than before

i ended up formatting my pc - that says it all

I use Spybot, no bother although it has missed stuff in the past.

cool, prob just a virus then although i have pc cillin updated and never found any
