mention a nice setup for 400-500 quid. i want 2x 12'' subs and an amp, boxes etc are all sorted out. what would you guys recommend?

look in max power... u can get 2xAlpine subs 1000w each and a digi amp boxes thrown in along with wiring kit suitable for set up

I would get 2 JL W3's (dual 2 ohm voice coils) and 1 of the new Alpine amps. Subs will set u back bout £360 and an amp bout £150 maybe £200 for a more powerful 1 if ya can stretch ya self. Important u get dual 2 ohm voicecoils tho, i no from experience if you get the wrong 1's it can cause problems!!
