i fancy havng a go at colour coding my ecotec cover on my engine and was wondering if any one knows what the best type of paint to use is?
im guessing it will need to be heat resistant to i dont think ordinary spary paint would work.

im halfway through doing this at the mo.....this is what my cover did look like
use engine de-greaser to get rid of all the muck and shite, then sand it all down like this
use plastic primer (i did 3 coats) then normal primer, rub it all down untill u are happy with the finish then spray with normal body paint and then lacquer (sp?) if u like.....job done!! I thought it would get hot 2 but it doesnt seem 2!! Hope it helps, will post some final pics when its done
