Whats COMP MESH?
If you mean competition mesh then make sure you dont get the cheap DIY stuff or you'll go slower.

Yup, B&Q warehouses sell big squares of mesh, or atleast the one by me does/did. Think it was about 3 foot Square . werent too badly priced either, but make sure you paint it if its not galvanised .

I used Expamet, expanded metal lath that plasterers use cos I can get it for nothing off the sites I work on. Comes in 8ftx2ft sheets and is galvanised, its been in a few years now and hasn't gone rusty. If you cant get it free its less than a tenner from builders merchants.

Thats exactly the same pattern as Expamet, might be slightly bigger diamonds though, its hard to tell off a pic.
