Using cold cathodes, i think you'll be able to. Just make sure you got a big enough fuse on the cicuit.

I've got 3 under my parcel shelf running from the boot light. My voltometer shows no 'slack' in the volts so I'm confident more could be added...

That many invertors on the circuit wont be healthy without a bigger wire.
3 dual invertors i think would be the max you could go to.
