was wondering if anyone can help me out with the boot solenoid ? need to know about wires and what to wire what from what, I have lock which has been cut so it opens straight away, I think wired it from the interior light which worked it but we dont really know how to wire the push switch upp can you tell me at all how to do it please many thanks Paul...

When i did this i also took out my rear wiper, leaving me with 2 wires doing nothing, runnning from the boot into the car, as this is a bastard due to the mutli plug. So i chopped up one of these (the black and purple one) and soldered this to the live for ur solenoid.
Then find the black and purple wire in the car, itll be by the passenger footwell, u just have to find the one out of the millions there (which is y i picked the black and purple wire, not the blue one, as this is the only black/violet in the car). When uve found it cut it and solder more wire to it. Then put this to a switch, then a fuse and then the battery.
Job Done
