looks like the boot lip has been folded.any decent bodyshop will be able to do this for you

i know what it is...just dont know how to do it, someone suggested making a piece out of the foam used to design bumpers, then skimming it with fibreglass then take a mould, then blend the finished piece onto the tailgate, just that welding will distort badly with a piece that large...argggh, boots flushed already btw

dont make a fiberglass copy it will crack after time, get a piece welded in, i expect a place like cool lourves woudl do it if u asked them.

How the hell ru gonna fold out a boot?! It's done by shaped fibreglass blocks being bonded then screwed to the boot I think, so the fucker won't distort and weaken then more fiberglass and filler to smooth it all off. Not easy and not cheap! ...and it is all straight and flush.
