I got a producer from a stop check the other day, told the police where i lved etc. Looked at my documents, and realised insurance and license still have my old address on from when i moved outta home just b4 xmas. Do you think this will be a problem?!

lottery ticket?! The producer i have has my new address cos thats what i told the police. My mum is still living at the other address, nothing dodgy is going on, i just forgot to change it!

Its an offence to not update your address if you move but you should be OK if you still have the house.

I could say the car has been there overnight too quite often as it wasnt alarmed until yesterday and i didnt want to leave it on the drive?

Or just say you sent of details about the new address to the DVLA, and just say you never recieved anything back yet 
but ring the insurance people asap, they will have a new note out within the week!

One of my customers from work is a policeman and i asked him about it. He said that yes, it is technically an offense, but obviously not a major one. He said if i go to Ledbury tomorrow (bout 10 miles away) he will sort it for me, which is cool!

shudn't be a problem if u tell them whats happening, they may not even ask in the station whether or not the details r different from what u told the copper that stopped u. just tell them bout it n say u'll sort it and ring the Insurance and DVLA ppl ASAP

the address on the producer and the one on my documents doesnt match up though. Im sure it will be fine, i even got the forms to change my address now.
