Just an example, but from a very repudtable car magazine... the Astra is more expensive and yet does not score better in ANY category than the Civic, funny that  Check them all, nobody but u rates the Astra better than the Civic

This is one sided opinion, go on Astra Sport and ask them about the reviews done on the Astra.
They are a load of bollocks.

Yeah ok, whatever, same on the civic one, they say they are underrrated in reviews, thats whay I picked an independant company

 Ok... BTW apologies, it seems I was thinkin of the zafiras, the astra is 200ps same as the civic BUT... umm, doesnt the astra need a turbo 2 get that figure...

I also live contented that the money I spent on my Civic was the best place to put my money, after all, my 4mth old civic is still worth more than some1 who bought an astra gsi yesterday

Yes, but it has the torque to match, you can have them running 225bhp with a few simple upgrades that don't cost a small fortune.

mate at work took the astra out for a spin , didnt like it and got the CTR, he wrote that one off and still went back to a CTR

i raced a turbo astra on the m1 and it couldnt pass and beat it top end. and i was on 17s (racing 90+)
only a 1.8 8v i had
