I think they can look mint, especially in black.

Just found out that a local guy is selling one:

It's an L reg GSI in Black, 90K, the engine is a C20XE and has had a lot of engine mods at Courtenay. Has 17s. It's been sitting around for the last 10 months as he hasn't had a licence, now he has brought a Calibra instead.
He wants £2000 ono.

That sound any good? What people general opinions?

I think there very nice cars m8, as for the handling a good suspension set up is all they need.

mine had full pmc suspension in it - and handling was still shite

in all honestly - my corsa (on coilovers) handled way better than the astra

Dont know about handling but mine goes round corners like its on rails, i've got Koni Adjustables and eibach springs.

In standard form it wont be too hot but then nor is the Corsa as standard.

Invest in good equipmant and it'll pay in the long run.
