astra 2.0 16v brakes fitted and working
they need bleeding again and bedding in but they look the buisness
and i was shocked at my old brakes
they er look new still
so im selling them "u2u me"
and ive got a blood blister on ma hand didnt know id done it till i washed me hands
and them screws that hold the disk on drivers side was a real bastid to get off
so ill need a new one i mullered it a little

If your old brakes are still like new, you need heavier boots

ive always used the gears to slow car down
way i was taught to drive only use brakes when nessary
its safer that way specially in this weather were having ice etc

Brakes are there for a reason tho.....
It's cheaper to change the brakes than rebuilding the gearbox

true but if your on a possibly icy piece of road and tap the brakes the car may slide
but changine down is less harsh and is controllabe
also if changing down fooks the gearbox none of my dads cars has needed a new box or clutch and hes been driving for donkeys years

I use the gears to change down to junctions and stuff but if i got to stop i use the brakes, don't slow down in the gears for long

i dont drive my car hard often too many police etc id get done knowing my luck.
will get driven better soon as its gona be a track car
