My gf had the same injury as you she got £5k payout plus the cost of her car. It takes a while for it to come through though.
I had an accident and broke my leg in 2 places I only got about £9k but couldn't walk for 8 months due to operations etc (It was about 4 years ago though)

if ya repair a wrote off car you will struggle to sell it on after as it will show on ya documents, i had a bent axle 3 months ago, drove it once or twice since then it feels fine had to be jigged though due to a bent chassi but its as straight as it was the day it came out the factory hence the £4000 repair bill

I agree.
My Corsa had to be "jigged" after its wee bump, and it never felt the same after the 2 months of repairs.

im thinkin same lines as adi says
basically.. if its a write off.. wot chance do i have or buyin it back to sell all my parts etc or repairing it with the £ i may get from other insurance company
and how much wud it cost to buy back
say as an example itl b £500.. i can prob get £600+ for my bits and bobs

sheesh that wud be cheap
well its strange that they shud be able to sell all my mods on the car and make money if i cant buy it off them seein as my insurance dont lose nothing
they cud sell my parts and make a profit surely
