do i have to put a coat of laquer over vauxhall black or not cos i know some colours dont need the clear laquer thanks

Lacquer is not dependant on colour... its dependant on the paint type.

If its 2pack paint... it wont need lacquered. It cures with a shiney finish.

Base coat paint, or 1 pack paint... will need a lacquered finish as it cures matt, its the lacquer that produces the shine, not the colour.
