if your car is already black it won't be anywhere near as much as a colour change, and metallic blue will be a bit more on top.

Can't really quote a price as its dependant on where you go, but your looking at anything between about £500-£1250 really

you can get a good finish for a good price it all depends on how much profit the bodyshop wants to make.
My car was resprayed (same colour), with full kit fitted (bumpers, skirts, spoiler) bonnet badboyed, morettes and steiny mirrors fitted, roof rails colour coded etc... for £1000.
The finish is brilliant and hes done a real good job of fitting it all. He just didnt make much money doing it!

£1000 is really a happy medium figure. The price goes up, the more in depth the respray. Our top notch respray is quick expensive because it is quite indepth.

All the windows are removed from the car

Car fully stripped

Doors, Bumpers, Tailgate, Bonnet etc painted off the car to get a perfect finish on all shuts i.e door shuts, engine bay surround.

The paint is then completely flattened then any repairs done etc.

If needed , the car will have primer applied.

Most modified cars are fully blocked down by hand to guarnatee a flat level surface everywhere .i.e no ripples.

The car is then coated in top quality paint.

Then lacquered which a quality high gloss lacquer.

The car is then baked, and removed form the booth flattened down remasked and placed back in the booth

The car is then relacquered for a more in depth shine.

The car is then flattned and polished untill we're happy with the finish.

The car is then rebuilt and all windows resealed.

The car recieves a full valet and is signed off by the bodyshop manager who give you a 5 year warrenty programme to sign. You would never get this for £500. So in Scotland, we're not being raped

dont agree with get what you pay for though in some cases

my mate is a sprayer and was waiting for his paint baking oven to be setup so i took mine to a BIG name company (i wont go into who it was, i wont put people off using them) i paid £1800 for a full repsray, black over old black and a new f50vented bonnet all sprayed up and smoothed boot, brought it back home, the solenoid used to open my boot was shoddy and very foolishly activated by a rocker switch. there is swirls in the paintwork where he hasnt decreased the new front wings and there is slight bits of orange peel in odd places, anyway mate got his spray booth up and runnin and we agreed he'd spray it for free if i did all the filling and rubbing down and other preperation work. he painted my car and its emmaculate, only been full trained for 2 years too

Yeah, i'd aim at around that. What we would do is get you in and sit down in the cosultation room and really talk about what you want and what would be best for you and the car, work around a budget etc then take it from there
