Would it be worth doing?

I noticed my butterfly valve was filthy when i had it appart yesterday.
Caused when you push it hard and oil is sucked from the crankcase...

Possibly easier to just strip it down and clean from time to time.

just clean your butterfly, hardly worth it on a 1.2
