hi,
i am thinking about getting the alpine r type 1000w sbr-1241sb sub with an m300 alpine digital amp. would this amp work well with this sub or would a m500 be better. i know that the m300 is 600w but not sure on the rms of the amp. the sub is 300w rms. any comments would be helpfull

ive got this setup. MRD-M300 is 300w RMS so it works well with that sub. if uve got the money though you should go for the MRD-M500 cos thats better but mine sounds good with the M300

M300 was designed for use with thee 10 and 12" type -r's and so is perfect with them.
You only need te M-500 f you are running a 15" Type-R sub.
The M1000 is well suited to the new Type-X sub aswell which looks like a bit of a beast.

those subs are gods. cant afford them though! and the M1000 is a proper beast. me wants!!!!

No where sells them yet so cant find a price, and alpine have just updated their amplifier range with M301, M501 and M1001 amps which look better and have a bit more power.
If its not too dear i might change my M300 for a M301.

cool, they do look wicked, bet they sound immence. cool, always good to have more power. what set up have you got?

u can get the sub and M1000 amp from cel-direct for about £550 i think
