I want to swap the engine in my car. Its a 1.2 8v, merit . I don't know what one to use though, cos of insurance. I want to put a 1.6 16v in, but I think the insurance will be too much. WOuld there be any point in putting in a 1.4 16v out of an SRi in?

Opinions please... Anyone done this and know about the insurance?

go for the c16xe mate, then whack on a velos torque tube and unichip - jobs a good 'un!!

oooooooh think I might do it.... I tried a quot on elephant.co.uk... they said my convictions history was un-acceptable and I gotta phone them up!
