Got my first part of my AS level results today!! Got Cs in Business, Economics and History...Got an A in Law!! Ony 2 marks off a B in business so a bit pissed!
Need to get better grades though cos i wont b able to get into Essex Uni!!

how come uve got rewsults now?? when i did my AS i got my results in august
BTW dont worry too much now, youve still got another year to build on 'em

only the first part, took exams in Jan. Got two more exams for each subject in June - Results in August

from my experience everyone does really well in the first year, in august i came out with 2a's in business and law, and 2c's in history and computing.
Second year ended up with a b and three c's so make sure you work hard

make sure if u have coursework do it well, so u have summat to fall back on if u dnt do well in exams, business exams pretty straight forward, but 2 hours writing about 10 sides isnt my cup of tea

i actually done better at a2 levels and didnt even revise coz i couldnt be arsed going to uni got BCC and turns out i went anyway coz there was nothing else to do

This is one reason I disliked A-Levels... working and doing exams - then having to wait to suddenly find out how well u did!
Now it's just you do each unit seperate and get graded after each... so you always know where u stand,

i started doing GNVQs at school (was too dumb for AS levels)
anyway only lasted 3months.
apaarantly sittin in the pub on my free lesson was unacceptable

LOL what school u use to go 2 joe? they tried chucking me out of chatham grammar for being in the pub but i just said i was havin me lunch, despite their being empty pint glasses in front of me

yeah make sure u work hard, my grades went down and down every year! Didnt do badly, but could have done a lot better.

We constantly go down the pub when we have lessons now - We try to get the females in our class absolutely wasted - then point em in the direction of our class and watch them stumble around and insult the teacher
Sadly about half the class is now up for review on attendance
