I have some new outside handles for my car but they are the wrong colour- so I need to re-spray them do I:
1. Sand, prime, spray
2. Sand, spray
3. Spray
Or do I do none of them and something totally different? I'm also colour coding the rub strips too. These look pretty smooth so it doesn't look like they need sanding- but do they need priming before spraying? Or can I spray straight on.
cheers,
Andy

thanks for the help
I know I need "high build primer" for the plastics to colour code. But what primer do I need for something like wing mirrors/door handles?
Cheers

Plastic primer or high built primer like you said, use a few coates and givve them a light sand betweeen coats you will soon have them really smooth. then couple of cotes top coat, then few cotes of laquer.

for the handles, they painted already?
if so scotch brite the surface so it goes dull then spray colour straight onto it.
