Just been offered a 170bhp C20XE fully fitted, full engine has been rebuilt and everything uprated at the cost of £2000+, only done about 2500 miles

the guy is now putting a C20LET in his car..

wat u think this is worth??

well the guy aint exactly sure how much but he reckons minimum 170bhp maybe 180bhp but it aint been on the RR

Say 2k...

the going rate for the red-top conversion is £1500, so for a re-conned engine 2k seems a fair price.

second hand XE's usually go for around £350/400 engine only. It wouldnt take that much to push another 20Bhp out of one. If it was full recon'd I'd pay around £800 if its really good.

88m forged pistons
Lightened crank, balanced
Powerzone coscat head, new valves, lifters etc
