MoT due on my 96 1.4 Sport soon, had accident at xmas, ft end damage & pretensioner went off on seatbelt clip, no have the yellow tag & exlamation mark showing! Wasn't replaced by insurance company, but am assuming this is a MoT fail? Anybody know?
Also, due to dodgy standard spongy brakes, have ordered 16v 256mm upgrade from v-tuning. Is it worth getting goodridge hoses whilst im at it? Cheers guys

if pretensioner has gone off it will fail mot-its in the mot guideline book. if u have a seatbelt with a pretensioner it must be in full working order. also if airbag light on it has to be rectified before issuing a pass

This is correct. My pretensioners were gone for ages, passed two MOTs with them like that. Your belt still works, just means it wont tighten up in a collision.

You will NOT fail your MOT with this problem, despite what ppl say.
