WD40 the catch - both on the slam panel and the hook/spring. Job done.

Possible that the pin in you bonnet that goes into the front is sticking.
Check if it is tights when you close it.
Had the same problem B4, my dad changed the position, no probs annymore.
Best way to test it without the front bumper.
easier 2 open the bonnet

i was told if someone pushes onto the front bit of the bonnet where it pops open from and the other person pulls the lever then it should work.
i tried this and it did work but then tried it again and it didnt work.
so do u reckon its the lever which i pull to pop it open or is it the coil thing in my bonnet where it opens from?

is it the middle round hole in the pic or the one next to it on the right?

If the bonnet is open, and a friend is pulling the lever in the car.
Check in the hole if the spring goes entirely away.
If not, on the front, there is a screw whick holds the cable of the lever.
change the position so, the spring opens completely.
If this is good and the WD40 doesn't work, you have 2 adjust the pin on the bonnet that goes into the hole
Hope I was clear

It is the round hole in the pic, the thing on the right is the spring
