make sure you dont have a powercut when they come to install it! We dud wgeb they came to do ours, and we never fot round to booking it again!

Mine has never recorded the full programme since we've had it. Its due to sky's timekeeping

basically ive got it setup to add 2 minutes of recording either end of the programme, tis fine now.

And yes the HDD upgrade is possible. Comes with a 40gb maxtor as standard but you can upgrade to a 120gb samsung

Richie - Thanks for the info think I will have to set mine up to record 2mins either side...... what happens say when a prog finishes at 8 and the next one starts at 8, how can it record 2mins either side then??
How much does it cost to upgrade?? Is it easy to do??

Lastly How many programmes can you record at once... (ie on at the same time)?

Reet if thats the case basically u will have to be watching one of those programs for 2 minutes while they overlap, it will come onscreen to tell you.

Upgrading is done outside of warranty so u gotta wait a bit

And you can only record 2 programmes at once and you've got to be viewing one of those 2 programmes. The box only has 2 LNB feeds

If your not in the Sky box will automatically switch to one of those channels so that u dont miss anything
