Just wanted to know if there was any way to play around with the std ECU settings to enhance performance?

Places like superchip have methods of "reflashing" the Eprom on the ECU so i wondered if its possible to buy a data cable and software and DIY it?

You can reprogram the standard ecu but ive never seen any below £10,000!
The cables are about £50, it's the software you pay for.
You can get a fully programmable race spec ecu for about £1,000 fitted (which i had-have still got it actually, meant to be passing it on to its new owner this week)

the only other way i can reflash an ecu is at work with the TIS and Tech2. basically all it does is include better software to improve economy etc. the only performance related flash i can do is to program a 1.2 corsa as a 1.8 SRi. not muc difference apart from fuel bill!!!
