Thinkin of doin it now I have this garage I'm renting. For those of you who do, do you tell porkies about why you are selling it or why you have had it such a short time.
Also, how do you keep the past owner numbers down when the car is in your possesion as I dont wish to add another unecessary owner to the V5 ?

Can't you regester as a car dealer, then when the V5 is filled in with your details, you fill in the part that says that you are a car dealer instead of a private owner. That way your name won't appear on the document.

Friend of mine does it, pics up bargains at auctions that need very little work done then sells them on.
Makes quite a big profit on most, get the odd one that was a hit or miss tho.

Nope you cant. You go to the auction beforehand and all the cars are parked up. You gaive them a thorough looking over then.

if you buy from an auction the auction will have taken part of the v5 so all you need to do is give the rest to the person that buys the car. I bought a fiesta at auction a while ago and made £500 on it!..easy money
