ok, i was thinking about getting a new set of wheels for my corsa 'B', but cant decide whether to get 17s or 18s. its lowered 60mm, will 17s go straight on and what work would be required to get 18s on?thanks

A fair bit of work to get 18s on i would think with -60mm and wears out steering/suspension components quicker!well thats wot ive heard!

i have a full koni suspension set up and have had 17's since i borught the car, had 2 change 2 standard 14's for MOT the other day as mine rub on full lock. Couldnt belive wot i was puttin up with, the car gripped the road like it was on rails and the steering wheel actually felt safe, not all ova the place from tramlining Had 16's on my GSI and that wasnt 2 bad but wud neva go bigger than that! ur car wont pick up half as quick with 18's m8.

wearing 18s will kill performance bcuz ur making a bigger rolling circumference with road wheels. 15s are perfect for corsa because of the final drive geometry

im planning on getting the 18's with a set of coilovers so that the car (might) still have some handling left in it.
I was gonna get 17's but they look a tad small with psg wide archs.

i couldnt tell u m8, but at the end of the day, ive only got a 1.2 so speed isnt an issue, its all about looks, and i wudnt change em unless i was 2 have a bigger engine, its all down to whether u wnt 2 focus on looks or performance!

Dont really care about handling anymore, i crashed my car and its shown me how easy it is to ruin my pride and joy, so looks is the way forward and stop speeding about like a prick!

ive got 18s, coilovers and psg wide arch kit
handleing is ok, but oviously u lose speed and handleing, but im not going for acceleration or handleing so it dosent matter
if ur going for looks mate go for 18s, u want acceleration and handleing, gor for 15s, simple as really
