hey everyone ...

i'm thinking of making a clio v6 replica and i've sourced most of the stuff i need. the only thing i need to find is somewhere to get the engine cover, i'm gonna have to try through renault i think.

anyways my question is how big can you get spacers because i think the wheels will need spacing out 100mm or possibly more?

any help would be great

thanks

Think you'd need to go to a wide-track kit... You could go for really low offset wheels which would help, but it would put unnecessary stress on suspension components.

i just got an email back from k-tec racing who reckon it'll be 50mm spacers which is all good ... i was a bit concerned when someone said i might need 100mm ones

.... i'm not putting the engine in the back but if i want it to look like a replica i will have to remove the back seats and put the engine cover in ... it'll leave a nice space for a couple of subs and stuff
