Which diesel engines are fitted to Corsa B/Cs?
Also, what sort of MPG do you get out of them?

not sure, the 1.5td is easily tunable to 100hp for £20, 140 with some more money spent.
1.7TDi is good for about 160-170hp reliably

Not wanting to mod it. It will be used just for a 60mile round trip to work to keep the miles off my Mini. 55 of those miles will be motorway miles.
What sort of MPG do you think I'll get? Over 60MPG?

If u drive the 1.5D sensibly, 55-60mpg shouldnt be out of reach. I doubt the TD will get u that.

i get about 40-45mpg from my 1.5TD and i nail it everywhere, im also runing over 1 bar of boost these days, rollin roaded at 87bhp. its not as cost effective as i thought it was gonna be when i bought it i have to say

So 55MPG wouldn't be out of the question driven sensibly on the motorway then really.

possibly yeah. on the motorway i do 70mph @3000 rpm in 5th which is right on the start of boost so its nice for overtaking but if you can you want to keep it less than that so your not feeding more fuel in. good luck trying to drive the car sensibly the only journeys ive managed to do it is when ive had to take my relatives as passengers!
