ive got a problem wiv my 1.4 16v. its struggling to pull of from standstill and theres a real big flat spot when trying to accelerate. i also found abit of oil in the last spark plug chamber. can anbody help me with what the problem is?

Whats the mileage on it?
Could be valve oil seals. Or head gasket going.

65,000 miles. i had the head gasket changed a few months ago on it.

Probably neither seals or gasket then.

unless it was a crap job!
still get a compression test though just to make sure. Other than that may be a piston ring which is failing.
