Just switched on my computer (running windows xp home), and the task bar and windows are all in 98 style, all grey and horrible

I've right clicked on desktop and chose 'Windows XP' under 'Themes' but it's still the same. I am running a firewall and virus scanner, and there are no viruses found...

Is the 'Windows XP' theme file corrupted? If so how can I replace it

yup your themes are feked, umm there aint really any way to fix it other than doing a repair process if you have the XP cd, or just a complete system restore!

mind... you could download StyleXP & use that!

check if you graphics card is running. likely if the grapics have gone a bit crappish.

ok downloaded StyleXP and it's all working

no idea what happened to the original luna.msstyles / Luna.theme files
