My oil light keeps coming on for a few seconds every so often , i have checked my oil a number of times and it is still full , any 1 got any ideas what the prob could be ?

oil pressure is shite, maybe ya oil pump is on its way out, when ya turn on ya ignition does it take a long time for the oil light to go out

The oil pressure warning light comes on at 4psi so if you do have that oil pressure then your engine is most probably near dead!
However its probably a connection somewhere. Check the connection on the back of the sensor, its on the back of the oil pump.

Look at the connections and consider replacing the oil pressure sensor before condeming the oil pump.

You would be able to hear it if you had 4psi of oil pressure....

Had that on my sri 8v mate it was the oil pump.
