If Ive not used my car for a few days, when I start it up it runs crap until the engine warms up, doesnt go as fast and hesitates when i boot it. Anyone know why it does this? and can I do anything to prevent this, apart from waiting till its warm.

quite crap at cold idling, i know my LET is but after 5minutes it boosts like a mo fo
all i can really say is if you dont plan using it just let it tick over for a wee bit that day

XE are notoriously noisy when cold....
first things first, you shouldnt be booting your car when its cold....
hesitation, stuttering etc - have you done the breather mod?
I would check the following first tho....
clean filter??
Clogged up TB??
give the AFM a scoosh with carb cleaner..
give all you breather pipes etc a clean... mine were full of gunk

if you have one.. very good chance its the lambda sensor!!
