i know that you have to tap into the rear speaker wires to run it off but do youu need to run a power cable from the battery to the amp???

could someone draw me a wiring diagram as to how to run two subs from one amp?!

One of me mates runs a sub of his rear speaker cables and you can't even tell it's there. It just kicks out less bass than the speakers- useless. You need to amp it up, and run a power cable to the battery
