This is my (temporary) boot build that I did yesterday fresh for CWC5 last night:
I got another one of those Alpine subs to go in yet but having trouble finding the right amp to power them. Some people have told me to get another MRD-M300 but then someone else said that wouldnt work very well? Anyone come up with any suggestions for the amp or amps to power my subs? or any other suggestions for the boot build. I know Im going to have to redo it all again when I put the other sub in!

oh ye and the amp or amps have to look good for when I have my boot open.

Depends on how much u wanna spean, why not look into something like the Audiobahn Class D amps?
Does ur sub sound good like that?

mate the mrd m300 wouldnt be powerful enough go for the bigger brother the mrd m500

another m300 wud be fine for the 2nd sub, 1 mrd-m500 wont be enuff for both.
U cud get a diffo bigger amp tho....

He cant run em both off an Alpine mrd-m500 neways Adi cos there dual 4 ohm voicecoil subs and wud mean a 1 ohm or 4 ohm load as of course u no.
Get another m300 lik Adi said tho, b fine. Dont no why some1 said it wudnt work well!!!!

I have hardly noticed a difference in volume or quality. It definately drops lower on bassy tracks, still kicks hard playing dance music and looks much better IMO! Ill have to have a rejig of the boot to get another amp and sub in!
