Just picked my valver up and its awesome, few problems with it though hopefully will get them sorted out this week, reverse gear is grating quite badly for some reason, anyone got any ideas what this could be ? the bonnet will not close and the temperature gauge is not working, Regards Paul...

the bonnet whats it hitting?? is it just not latching may just need adjusting
reverse will be the mechanism
and the temp gauge will be the wiring of temp sender

I dont think its hitting anything to be honest it seems to be going all the way down but the catch dont seem to be working propperly dont know why any ideas how I can resolve it ? also what kinda job will it entail to get the gearbox working propperly do u think I should just pop intio a gearbox place ? many thanks Paul...

could just be the linkage is 1-2mm malajusted its only very fine adjustment
yeah a garage should have it sorted in no time

and as the bonnet push it in and out by hand put some grese on it its probably just seized a little with not being used for 2 months
