i had them. I used a fully cally leather interior, and wired up the seating.
Mine was a 1.2 8v LS, and i had all the wiring all ready under the floor. Had to run new loom behind center console tho.
As for cost, however much the seats + switches cost you, plus wiring them in....unless u're handy at that?

turn the heater on and wear a coat in winter.. IMO not worth the £££, time or aggrovation!

Heated seats don't cost all that much if you get them from a brokers yard,
such as http://www.dixonsvauxhallspares.co.uk/
As Mattyb said you will need to wire them up, which could cost you more unless you do it yourself
