right before taking it to be plugged in, does any1 have an idea what this problem might be? here goes: engine management light flickered on for a while, then suddenly stays on and the car limits at 3500rpm and stutters when it gets to it, and on start up it takes a few times before the car fires, im reckoning its gonna be a sensor gone, but which one? any1 know anything about this or had it happen?

camshaft or crankshaft position sensor at a guess

yeh my mte guessed at one of those, priced em up at 86+vat for the cam sensor and 40+vat for the crank sensor, so think its worth making sure its the one cuz i was gonna replace both!

happened to me about 2 years ago when the crank sensor went. Read the ECU fault code to determine which sensor it is.

i have a crank angle sensor here spare of a c16xe
£20 and its yours
