I have a 2.0l 16v Corsa and the weight of the engine is pushing the arches onto my 17's what can I do, I am currently using avo coilovers brilliant handling but not really lowered it at all because of the scrubbing, the arches have been debolted can I grind them down using something or is it best to go to the bodyshop and see what they can do, I cant really buy wide arches coz they would not look right with my kit please help me, Paul...

I have heard you can take them out, bash or grind bits where it scrubs and bond them back on.

dont rerally understand it mate surely igf I just do something with the arches I can overcome this problem with the scrubbing I am not using spacers on the front and am currently not having any preoblems with the rears unless I have a full car load which is hardly ever, if I can sort out the front I will be very happy indeed

you can cut the lip of the arch back leaving enough to bond the arch back on! shouldnt cost that much for the bodyshop to do it! maybe £20 an arch opr give it a go urself! im sure someone had a tutorial in here somewhere but i cant be bothered to look for it !

I have had a good look at my arches tonight and I believe that the outer arch is not the problem and think its maybe the inner arch and a couple of bolts scratching the tyres that are not in use I am going to take the bolts out and try and bond the outer arches on is it possible to knock the inner arch in a bit maybe using a hammer or something like that there is a show I am going to on Saturday and i want it sorting for then if possible please help me thanks a lot Paul...
