Run a pub with my sister
Shes always wanted to have her own pub, and the people in the local one could be leasing it out as there going to south africa, so if it's affordable, me and my sister may go in for it.
She is a qualified chef so can do the cooking for the resturant and id be doing the odd nights behind the bar as have done before
And then mum n dad will help out if we ever wanted to go out!!
Bit of a way a way yet though i think, but could be a good opportunity!!

Get a buisness plan first and ask to check through the books for last few months to ensure its going to bring in enough buisness.....My mum and dads mates leased a pub a few years ago and are doing very well out of it.....long hours is the only down side

yer well get in someone to check the books etc. and add up rough ins and outs to see if it's worth it.
Out of interest kolin any idea how much they leased it out for??
Long hours isnt really a issue atm tbh but obviously things could change but i dont mind working nights and keep my day job and my sister will work during day/night as it'l be her job bein chef...
Obviously also got to think of employing waitresses and other people to help in kitchen wash up etc, and some one who can work behind the bar at fixed times..
a long way off yet but the prospect is cool
