1-0 up and in extra time, what could go wrong???
Zidane steps up and scores a free kick that David James decided he wasnt even gonna try for.........then a penalty (why didnt the ref send him off then at least we would have had Robinson in the net next game)
Then as we expected England we were losin and what could make my night even more shit.....
I had polished off bottle after bottle of lager to drown my sorrows only to realise it was FRENCH lager......now off to make myself sick the french shit bak up

Dunno how Im being mouthy passing my opinions over a message board like. Thought that was the point?
IMO, James didnt do nowt wrong. He couldnt of stopped the world class free kick, or stopped the bullet penna.
All the team played brilliant for 90 minutes, we just fecked up in injury time.

Errm, I must have been watching a different game, then......England were crap between 60 and 80 minutes, you just don't defend right back inside your 18-yard-box.
It was just "oh, we've lost the ball again, let's let them get all the way to our 18-yard-box before putting any pressure on them".
Sorry to say it, but England didn't deserve to win that one......James was lucky not to be sent off, Rooney showed why his disciplinary record is awful in the Premiership (although did have a few promising moments), Owen had a severe off-game, and the entire midfield hardly fought for anything and left the French almost full-control of the centre field.

I wasn't saying throw everyone forward, but leaving a few players back to cope with the runners and then having one or two players pushing forward to put pressure on the French forwards......would have caused a lot less pressure in the 18-yard-box.
But what do I know, I don't like football any more!

think what dan means is, everytime france made an attack it was just one long ball to get it out and then just sit in our own half and wait for the nex t attack to come,
and he is right, our midfield didnt compete,
for me the man of the match on the night was........................
wait for it
ledley king, who i thought dindt give the french forewards a sniff
