hi, iv got a corsa c 1.2 sxi and wen i change gear it makes a hissing noise, kind of like a dump valve but quieter. Also my mates fiesta does this but think its because he got an induction kit but i haven't so any ideas what this could be?

Nah, mine doesn't do this but my engine is pretty much standard though...

egr valve. can hear it on my dads a4 too.

exhaust gas recirculation. nothing wrong with it.
