Hopefully you can help,
I currently rally a 1.4 16v Corsa, and I'm intending converting it to Electric Power Steering. I already have the Electric Column from a '99T plate, and I know bolts right in.
The problem lies with the control of it. In a standard car it is connected the the engine ECU which relays speed info etc, however, as we run a engine with MBE management & throttle bodys, this is not an option.
I know an after market controller can be bought from Quicks Motorsport, but at £440 it's pretty pricey !
Does anyone know if there is a way around this ?
Can it maybe be by-passed or is there another controller available.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Use the pump from a volvo 440 or 460 turbo. Just bolt on and drive.
