right, mine has been doing it for ages and is really pissing me off now.
i have oiled the cable and the assembly pedal bit etc..
but it still bloody squeeks.
any ideas?

wd40 on the springy bit on pedal, mines been ok for over a year since doing it

finally got it too stop, woohoo
yeah i sprayed loads on the springy bit.
