in my car my speedo says im doing 40 when its a 30 is there any way to correct this i do have 17's on it as well which i know might throw it out a bit but its 10 mph out

if its a cable driven speedo it may be out.....

or if its electronic then the sender may be up the duff..

The spring may wear out more on high mileage clocks. I know my old 126k clocks were out by 5-7mph at least at 30mph.

I dunno if you can get it corrected, either that or get lower m/age clocks.
