MY PC seems to restart on its own every so often. It's a hardware problem somewhere i think. I'm thinking it's the Hard Drive at the moment as when it restarts the HD makes a clicking noise BUT saying that i have installed a new graphics card and faster memory in the last few weeks. Anyone else got any ideas what it could be?
BTW, the memory is matched, i sold the old chip and added 2 new 512 DDR 400 chips.

looking at your spec i'd say your PSU needs upgrading quick! I'd say at least a 400w+

As already said, you'll prob need a bigger power supply.
Restarting PC can also be triggered by bad or not properly installed memory, just check these over by trying one memory module at a time see if it does it again.
If your computer goes into a state of doing nothing before it reboots (with a black screen) or freezes, then the memory is definately a prob.
You getting any error messages if you shutdown windows normally or on start up?

No errors come up, it just reboots. I'll have a look at the PSU and check the memory tomorrow when the light is better. If i rem rightly -- the PU was a 350 watt but i've never really looked at it. It's just a basic one that come with the case.
What i will do is power the motherboard from another 300 watt PSU i have and see how it runs -- i.e. the motherboard on one PSU and all the other stuff on PSU in the system now. I've got a brand new 250 PSU and a 300 used PSU around somewhere.
