Found some alloys I like they are 205/40/17 4x100pcd and et 40, what I want to know is will I have any problems with rubbing etc.
Car is 2003 1.8 sri (not lowered) I have Irmscher front spoiler and rear bumper

No rubbing mate, my sri is down 40mm et 40, ul be fine.

Mine are et40 mate down -30 on Eibachs with no probs.

Shouldn't have any rubbing mate. I've got 17"s ET38 and they're fine. My SRi's only lowered by the Factory Standard 15mm. Oringional went for ET48 as was advised by all that Corsa C's take ET45+ but the SRi 1.8 has the rear calipers and the rear wheels didn't even go on never mind rub!
If you don't intend on lowering it in the future I'd say ET38/40 will give you no hassel at all.

corsa c is much bigger in archs isnt it, ET40 shud be fine even lowered??
