I used to have a Janspeed silenced decat.

Was crap - baffles went after about 8 months.

the pvd one i have, has a manifold that fastens at the front and then is oversize at the other end, so u slip it in and clamp it tight....

@Joff, is there any decent ones about? my cat has rusted away and is too loud with the straight thru one

Get a hi-flow/sport cat. Then it will be legal.

a normal cat is about £200 tho

But when you get fined by the Police and forced to put a cat on you'll be pissed off. I think a sports cat is abou £250........
