Go for a 1.8 8valve Vauxhall, they are strong and reliable as long as they get there oil changes! Mine keeps goin, havent been able to kill it yet and it gets a severe beating alot, 92,000 miles and counting!

Cav Mk3, Astra Mk2, from what Ive heard the mk2 Astra 1.8 isnt the slowest, used to be the top of the range in the very early GTE's, got demoted to the SRi when the 2.0 came out, should shift nicely, after all mk2 doesnt weigh much more than a corsa!

Yeah....for someone else tho....im just wanting rid now
Only the sport has LSD......means changing the whole back axle to fit it and I cant be arsed

thanks for the offer but the mondeo is part ex it still runs/drives just not long journeys or the clutch starts slipping
ill wait till the globe is out on wednesday see whats in there.
is there a small car that will take abuse? w/out blowing up
