79K of trashing, caning, and pushing to the limits
compression ratio 98% of maximum, after 79K
Used mostly between 5000 and 7300rpm.
And only destroyed an inlet valve.(because the spark plug lost the electrode, use cooler plugs now!)
More relyable than this I don't Know.
Also Got Mantzel Powerbox, 7500 rpm, superchips, etc.
What oil are you using guys?
Now I only use Bardhal XTR Racing 10w 60, much superior to crap synthetic oils!And of course change oil every 6K
And do you change cambelt and tensioners every 30K?

I use the vaux fully synth, aim to change about every 4/5k. My engine is only about 6k after rebuild.

Vaux Syn is good stuff.
But I use XTR racing, because it's really a race oil, and used in many race cars. Stable until 150deg C.(10w60)
Last time I changed it with 3K but it was in the sump for almost one year.

its the best engine along side the 20xe as its loosely based on it and has loads tuning potential

mine seems fine, i do take it to around 6k a few times, now and agin to 7250 limit but very wary and stay away from that!! very impressed with it but i feel a rolling road session will improove,
the throttle pedal is really hard for some reason?? shame you have had so many problems donna
